Set among some of Staffordshire’s most picturesque countryside, Longdon Hall School has been transforming the lives of young people aged 7-18 for years. Pupils receive unrivalled levels of support to suit their specialist learning requirements. Year six student Luca explains how being at Longdon Hall has helped him, saying:
‘Ever since I moved here I’ve been really happy, a lot more positive and achieving loads more.’
School mate Kieran agrees, commenting:
‘I like it because I’ve made lots of new friends and the staff are very kind — always able to help students like me.’
Scheduled activities take advantage of the stunning surroundings, including regular outdoor exercise and the specialist ‘Forest Schools’ curriculum. Longdon Hall’s children aren’t overwhelmed with large class sizes or strictly traditional lesson plans. With a focus on vocational and holistic learning, staff ensure they enjoy their time at school while making sure they’re equipped for when they leave.
