Principal enjoys tea with the Queen

The Executive Principal, Matt Storey, recently enjoyed tea and cake at a Royal Garden Party held in the beautiful grounds of Buckingham Palace. The invitation to attend the garden party was sent as a gesture of gratitude from the Royal Household following a visit from The Duke of Gloucester to Longdon Hall School last year.  Following the garden party Matt said, “We enjoyed a very special day and feel very privileged to have been part of such a Royal occasion. It was a very ‘British’ affair with brass bands playing on the lawn, beautiful formal gardens to explore and a delicious tea with a stunning array of sandwiches and pastries. We even had some sunshine!! The highlight was, of course, seeing the Queen and other members of the royal family including The Duke of Edinburgh, Prince William, Kate and Princesses Eugene and Beatrice. It was a real honour to be able to represent Longdon Hall School and a timely opportunity to recognise and appreciate the ongoing hard work and commitment of all of the school staff.”
